So I'm thinking of buying a 7700 xt on my birthday and just get a cheap am4 cpu then upgrade it overtime and I know what y'all thinking just getting a cheaper card then get better a cpu to match and yes that's good and all but I feel like upgrading the gpu like for example going from a 6600 to a 7700 xt just cost more than upgrading a cpu and other parts.
